User Groups

|

There are a number of user groups open for those who use CAN in industrial
applications. There are mainly two kinds of user groups:
- User Groups connected to a specific higher layer protocol (HLP), e.g. ODVA for DeviceNet.
- User Groups for a specific application, such as CANHUG for hydraulic applications.
The user groups generally aim to distribute information regarding available products,
standardize e.g. data formats for information sent over a CAN bus etc. User Groups also
provide the possibility of exchanging information and experiences between members in a
more or less formal manner.
