Five minute interview: Sara Östling, Logistics Assistant at Kvaser

Q: Could you give us a feel for the job that you do at Kvaser?
A: I support the order and logistics department at Kvaser AB. I work mainly with Camilla Kindal and Tobias Küller, supporting them with handling orders, shipping and with inventory, ensuring our products are kept in the right place within our stock facilities. I also arrange shipments to our manufacturers to provide them with what they need to build our products. I make sure that there’s always coffee and tea around the office, which keeps people happy.  My tasks also involve some reception duties, since it is often me that answers the door and the phone.

Q: How long have you been with Kvaser?
A: I have been working full time at Kvaser since 1^st April this year.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: Amongst the things that I appreciate the most are the nice office atmosphere and the opportunity, and responsibility, to plan my own work. It is great that we have such good relationships with our offices in China and the US because it makes things easier for our retailers and us.

Q: Do you have any hobbies / special interests?
A: I spend most of my free time with my two kids and my friends. Going shopping is one of the things I enjoy most - maybe a little too much sometimes!

Q: Do you have future plans in relation to Kvaser’s business?
A: There are many parts of the company that I would like to learn more about, since I am pretty new here.

Q: Any thoughts that spring to mind that you would like to share with our QSRs/TAs?
A: I find I am talking with our QSRs and TAs more and more, which I really enjoy. However, my English is a little rusty, so please bear with me – I am looking forward to practising more on you all!
