All models within Kvaser's Rugged interface range boast a lightweight yet highly durable, corrosion resistant aluminium alloy housing. A heavy-duty polyurethane coating that completely seals the unit and cabling to IP67 standard for water and dust ingress provides further protection. Vibration, shock and drop proof, Kvaser's Rugged range operates over an expanded temperature range from -40 to +85°C.

As with all other Kvaser interfaces, the Rugged product range is very easy to configure. Just plug in the hardware and use your favourite software tool, or write your own using our free CANLIB SDK software, an API for all Kvaser hardware that makes it easy to create custom applications to suit your needs.

Our Rugged dataloggers boast a user-friendly program to ensure that it is easy and convenient to set configurations with a PC and download them to the datalogger, where they are stored on the flash disk for use in the field.
