Kvaser USBcan II is a family of CAN interfaces for the USB bus. It currently has
four members, Kvaser USBcan II HS/HS, USBcan II HS, USBcan II HS/LS, and USBcan
II HS/SW. The interfaces have an onboard microcontroller and a large buffer RAM. The boards support CAN 2.0 A and 2.0 B (active) and
have high-speed CAN ISO 11898-2 compliant driver circuits. There are variants
available with support for low-speed CAN (ISO 11898-3) and single-wire CAN (SAE
J2411, a.k.a. GMLAN). Drivers for the cards can be freely downloaded from
