Kvaser PCIcanx II

Kvaser PCIcanx II is a high-performance CAN/PCI interface board and comprises two members:
PCIcanx II HS/HS and PCIcanx II HS. Kvaser PCIcanx II HS is delivered with a free of charge low profile bracket. The Kvaser PCIcanx II boards fits in both PCI-X and PCI bus systems. Galvanically isolated CAN bus drivers to protect the hardware.

• High-speed ISO 11898 compliant driver circuits, supports bit rates up to 1 Mbit/s
• Industry-standard 9-pin D-SUB connectors
• Pin assignment according to CiA-DS102
• CAN oscillator frequency: 16 MHz
• Optoisolated driver circuits with fast optocouplers
• The Kvaser PCIcanx II family boards can optionally be delivered with exchangeable CAN drivers, supporting e.g. single-wire CAN.

Software and Documentation

Documentation, software and drivers can be downloaded for free from www.kvaser.com. Updates of the software are regularly posted on the web. The following free software is available for the Kvaser PCIcanx II family:

• Driver support for Windows Vista/2003/XP/Win2k, Windows 98/ME, Windows NT 4.0 and Linux.
• Kvaser CANLIB SDK, which includes everything you need to develop software for the Kvaser CAN boards. Includes full documentation and many program samples, written in C, C++, Delphi, Visual Basic, and C#. 
• All Kvaser CAN interface boards share a common software API. Programs written for one board type will run without modifications on the other board types!
• J2534 Application Programming Interface
• RP1210A Application Programming Interface
• Kvaser CanKing, a general-purpose interactive CAN bus monitor.
