What is the pin configuration of KVASER hardware?
CAN Bus
LIN Bus

Pin configuration of CAN bus 9-pin D-SUB connectors

This connector layout is recommended by CiABoldface means the pin in question is important.

DRVcan 251, DRVcan 1050 (High Speed CAN), DRVcan Fi,
USBcan, USBcan Rugged, USBcan II HS/HS,
Kvaser Memorator HS/HS,
PCcan-S, PCcan-D,
PCIcan-S, PCIcan-D,
PCIcan II

1 - Reserved
2 CAN_L CAN_L bus line (dominant low)
3 CAN_GND CAN Ground
4 - Reserved. *
5 (CAN_SHLD) Optional CAN shield
6 (GND) Optional CAN ground, normally not used
7 CAN_H CAN_H bus line (dominant high)
8 - Reserved (error line)
9 CAN_V+ Power (Only required for DRVcan Fi and Kvaser Memorator as stand alone logger , 7-24V DC)

*) Nothing will be destroyed if you connect 5V here but the tranciver type will not be identified correctly. Most likely it will work anyway.
