Support Note Is LAPcan Compatible With Softing's CANcard? Question: I have written my own software for Softing's CANcard, using their CANCARD.DLL driver. Can I use LAPcan as a plug-in replacement? Answer: No, but we provide a free-of-charge library which sits on top of our driver routines for LAPcan. This library provides an API which is fairly compatible with CANCARD.DLL. We say "fairly" because we can't guarantee that it is 100% compatible. This library available in the CANLIB SDK which may be downloaded from our Software Download Area [Support -> Download] Also note that we support 32-bit programs under Windows 95 and/or NT only. 16-bit programs are not supported.
