Please follow the normal installations instructions. But please read the
following:
Information for users with CANalyzer 4.1 SP2 or later
Fatal Error
CAN driver stub:
CAN driver not found
...receive this when you are running CANalyzer/CANoe 4.1 SP2 or later?
In the directory where you have installed CANalyzer/CANoe (typically):
C:\Program Files\CANalyzer\exec32\Batch
C:\Program Files\CANoe\exec32\Batch
..you find a number och bat-files for using different hardwares with
CANalyzer/CANoe.
Execute kvaser.bat for using it with our hardware (KVASER).
Execute VCncrd32.bat for using it with VECTORīs hardware.
Execute VCncrd32.bat for using it our conflicting drivers (ONLY WORKS WITH
LAPcan!)
(You can not reach Vectorīs hardware and KVASER hardware at the same time,
sorry! In CANalyzer/CANoe it is impossible to use hardwares from different
vendors in the same computer at the same time. The problem is that if
you have executed the kvaser.bat (as described) CANalyzer/CANoe will ONLY
look for licenses on KVASER hardwares and ignore licenses on all other
vendorīs hardwares, for example Vector CANcardX, even if the drivers are
installed properly and properly inserted into the computer (and if the
license is on the LAPcan card you can not see the license if CANalyzer is
configured to work with Vector hardware)
...and try to start CANalyzer again.
Still doesn't work with our hardware?
1. Control Panel -> CAN Hardware (KVASER).
2. Expand (click the +) to the left of the hardware that you want to use
with CANalyzer.
3. Assign the hardware, using the "Assign to application" button
to CANalyzer or CANoe.
(Assigning hardware is explained in the CANalyzer Installation guide)
Still doesn't work?
