Workaround:
Windows NT 4.0 doesn't support Plug and Play for PCMCIA cards. Many computer vendors (e.g. Dell, Gateway) ship their computers with special, pre-installed software that enables Windows NT 4.0 to support Plug and Play.
Common software brands are CardWizard, SoftEx, and CardWare.
There has been compability issues with this kind of software and earlier revisions of the LAPcan driver. If you have problems, we recommend that you uninstall the LAPcan driver you have currently installed and install the latest version.
Problem Status:
The driver for LAPcan is supported on standard Windows NT 4.0 only but we believe that the latest version of the LAPcan driver will work with most types of PCMCIA plug-and-play software.
If you have upgraded to the latest version and it still doesn't work, please contact us.
