PCcan can't use IRQ9 on some machines |
On some machines, PCcan can't use IRQ9. This happened, for example, on one Dell Dimension XPS R450 (from January 1999.) Windows (Windows NT) may or may not detect this so in some cases there are no error messages anywhere. IRQ9 is frequently used for PCI bus interrupts. |

Workaround: |
Use IRQ5 or IRQ3. If that is not an option, consider using a PCIcan instead (plugin compatible with PCcan - no software or cabling modifications needed!) |
