CANOpen stack integration

Hello,

My company IRTS (http://www.irts.fr/) is a Rugged Tablet PC OEM in military market.
We provide CAN interfaces with custom (serial Lawicel) low level protocol.
Following a customer request, we need to provide a Windows CanOpen SW interface and we are ready to use the kvaser CanOpen Stack.
I have 2 questions :
– What is the Kvaser HAL API spec (ReadCAN, WriteCan,…) ?
– I guess there are some OS dependant stuff (thread creation, timer,…). So, how is the “OS independant” feature implemented in the stack ?
Thank for your help

Hi!

We (Kvaser AB) do not deliver CANopen. It is tke (www.tke.fi) that delivers this product.

Please contact [email protected] for more info about "CANopen DLL for Windows".

Kvaser drivers function in both win/linux and I see that you need it in windows. Download the Software Development Kit and look into the examples. then u may write ur own code in C, python and .. email [email protected] for more..
