Kvaser’s latest software release clarifies existing documentation and adds new materials.

Notable changes and additions include:

Kvaser Linux driver and SDK (canlib): This version includes the new GCC 8 compiler for the GNU OS. The compiler for old GCC versions 4.3 and 4.6 remains within CANlib. Also, the listChannels example is now provided in the same format as in Windows.

Kvaser Memorator Config Tool: Adds MDF 4 compatibility to the converter, plus the ability to filter out VECTOR__INDEPENDENT_SIG_MSG messages.

Kvaser CanKing: The J1939 formatter now filters on parameter group numbers (PGN).
