Why is this warning on Kvaser products?

Products with any amount of substances covered by Proposition 65 — even at levels that may not be harmful — must carry this warning unless proven to have “no significant risk” of exposure.

Since almost all electronic products contain 1 or more of the chemicals listed under Proposition 65, this warning is provided to make sure our customers stay informed.

How do I know that Kvaser products are safe?

For Kvaser products, the exposure may be well within the “no significant risk” range; however, the Proposition 65 warning label is provided on our products in order to help you make an informed purchase decision.

According to the California government, “The fact that a product bears a Proposition 65 warning does not mean by itself that the product is unsafe.”
